SEO & Website Performance

Search visibility starts with a site that search engines can crawl, understand and load quickly. I work on that foundation (technical SEO, local-search markup and page speed) together with a team of SEO and web specialists, and I measure the result in Search Console instead of promising rankings.

I applied the same approach to this portfolio, which had no search presence when I started: a crawlable structure, structured data generated from one source of truth, a sitemap checked in every build and a written visibility plan.

A realistic expectation matters here. Nobody can guarantee a ranking, and competitive terms are dominated by large directories and agencies. The plan is to win the searches you can (your name, your niche and your local area) and to measure them.

What I deliver

  • Technical SEO audit and fixes

Crawlability, canonical URLs, redirects, sitemap and robots rules, heading structure, titles and descriptions, and broken-link checks, automated in the build so they cannot quietly regress.

  • Structured data

Person, LocalBusiness, GeneralContractor, Service and BreadcrumbList markup generated from your own data so it always matches the page, with FAQ markup only where there are real questions.

  • Local-search foundations

One substantial service-areas page instead of thin city pages, consistent name, address and phone details, and guidance on setting up a Google Business Profile.

  • Core Web Vitals and speed

Optimised AVIF and WebP images with explicit dimensions, self-hosted fonts, almost no JavaScript, and Lighthouse budgets that fail the build if speed regresses.

  • Search Console, analytics and reporting

Search Console set up with the sitemap submitted, and privacy-respecting analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics, or Google Analytics 4 behind a consent notice), then reading the queries and pages that matter.

  • AI and answer-engine readiness

Clean semantic HTML, an llms.txt file and direct question-and-answer copy so AI assistants can cite your site accurately.

Selected work

  • This portfolio

Structured data from a single data file, a post-build SEO check on every pull request, Lighthouse budgets in CI and a written visibility playbook. 100 in all four Lighthouse categories in lab tests.

  • Earth Cone Building Contracting

GeneralContractor structured data covering all seven Emirates, one service-areas page, a sitemap and an llms.txt file.

  • Lail O Nahar Machinery Rentals

LocalBusiness structured data with services, offers and the eight areas served, plus canonical URLs and social-sharing metadata.
